Good Morning God,
You’re ushering in a brand day,
bright and shiny new,
and here I come again to ask
if you’ll renew me too.
Please forgive the many errors
I made just yesterday
and let me try again, dear God
to walk closer in your way.
But Father, I am well aware
that I can’t do this on my own,
so please take my hand and hold it tight
so I won’t walk alone.
